Halloween fun in PreK!

What a Wacky Wednesday at Illini!

Mrs. Davis's SEL class has been working on lessons about community. Students were tasked with identifying what it means to be part of a community and then addressing a problem they see in our community. Students said they would like to see more sidewalks and trails around Fairview Heights to ensure safe travel for community members. Students then wrote letters to the mayor, which were delivered by Mrs. Davis, and this week we received a response from our mayor, Mr. Mark Kupsky! What a great way for our students to be active members of the community and learn how to make a difference where they see problems.

Cheerleaders tonight for the first basketball game!
