Hello Grant families. Hope you are enjoying your summer break. I wanted to let you know our open house will be held Monday, August 12, 2024 from 6:00-7:30 pm. Come meet your teachers and you may bring school supplies. We will start in the gym and then report to homeroom teachers. Have a great day...the Grant Way!
Student-athletes interested in trying out for our fall sports (Baseball and Softball) will need to have a current sports physical on file. Students will NOT be able to try out without a current sports physical. Also, all fees should be paid in full and the student's online registration for Grant has to be completed.
--5th-8th Baseball tryouts will be Tuesday, July 30th and Wednesday, July 31st at the Fairview Heights Khoury/Caseyville Township Fields. Located next to the Fairview Heights Library from 8-10 am both days.

--Soccer will start in March of 2025. This change happened in hopes of increasing numbers for baseball and softball in our conference (the Belle-Fair Conference).
--If your student-athlete needs a sports physical, you can go to “Belleville Urgent Care” on 2801 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62226. They provide $25 sports physicals.
More information and/or updates will be provided during the summer.

Students who raised over $100 got to pie teachers in the face (of their choice) on Field Day 2024. They did not disappoint.
The internet and phone service for District #110 is down today, May 21st. Neither Grant nor Illini have internet or phone service at this time. Our provider is working to get us back online ASAP.

Ms. Meyenburg's students were the only group to make it to the end of their science unit on time to make buildings for our earthquake simulation! Students are excited to see what level of earthquake destroys their building. Which building do you think will last the longest?

This year was my very first year leading the Girls on the Run program in our district. Kind Knepper was the very first coach to join the team and attend training with me. It was just the inspiration that I needed to face my fears. Thanks to all of the coaches for giving your time, wisdom, and support. I couldn't have done this without YOU, and we couldn't have done this without our coordinator, Sweet Shelby. She was always a phone call/email away! I also want to thank Mrs. Lasley for allowing us to participate in the program. My gratitude also goes to my loving husband as well as the amazing parents who were all so supportive throughout the season. Girls on the Run is So Much Fun!!! #GOTRSTL5k
